Well, I have discovered that Thomas Jefferson did in fact own slaves. 187 of them to be exact. I suppose that he didn’t mind slavory, he had 187 of them. I know this, not only because I am skilled, but because Thomas kept meticulous hand-written records, which we still have. On January 14, 1774, after he inherited slaves from first his mother and then his father-in-law, Jefferson wrote his inventory of 187 slaves. E-mail me. jessespohn@aol.
