So far, in terms of direct engagement with the Taleban the UAE has not been involved. But we will be more than glad if the UAE takes part in mediating in negotiations with the moderate insurgents. We have appealed to our Arab Muslim brothers, both Saudi Arabia and the UAE, to take initiative and bring peace and stability.
