There was no turning point as such. The war between the Coalition forces and Iraqi’s began when Desert Storm was announced. From the very beginning, the Coalition won. The superior weaponry, such as the A-10 “Warthog” and the M1A2 Abrams MBT (Main Battle Tank), made quick work of enemy emplacements and older tanks, with many Iraqi soldiers surrendering on sight of American forces, some even giving themselves up to the UAV’s used to spot for the artillery.
