Top The theme song for the series was “Something to Talk About,” written and performed by Shirley Eikhard. The pilot ran the song with the original lyrics, but variations on the lyrics were used in subsequent episodes. The full theme and introduction actually only ran on the episodes where there were cast changes, such as You Talk Too Much when Julie Hagerty took over the Malone role and in Veda when Lisa Rieffel was introduced as Veda.
