What was the “salt lick” in Veronica Mars?
If I had to guess (I don’t actually watch the show and no recap site I went to spelled it out), I’d say that they were doing body shots on her unconscious body. Usually that involves pouring tequila into the belly button of the person lying down, putting a lime wedge in his/her mouth, licking his/her stomach and sprinkling salt on the licked part to set it up. Then you lick the salt off, suck the tequila out, and transfer the lime wedge into your mouth. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.ph… As she would have been drugged and unconscious/barely conscious rather than a willing participant, it would be sexual assault. As I said above, though, I couldn’t actually find anywhere that said anything about it and I only saw a handful of episodes of the show, not including that one, so I could be wrong. It seems to make sense given what I’ve heard/read, though.
