Jesus said that when we feed the hungry, we are feeding him. When we minister to the “least of these,” we minister to him. PIGS FOR JESUS is a new Christian-based ministry that seeks to obey this command. Founded by Hall-of-Fame Quarterback Terry Bradshaw, PIGS FOR JESUS exists to do one thing . . . provide food for the hungry. Raised on a ranch near Thackerville, OK, these pigs are processed and distributed to the needy of the Texoma area. Hams, ribs, and other cuts of pork are passed through VISTO, a local food bank, and then taken to thousands of children and families in need. In its first week, PIGS FOR JESUS fed 600 children and 200 shut-ins in Gainesville, TX. We are on a mission, but we need your help! CLERGY CORNER: We can’t fall with Jesus as our base Most everyone knows about the story of the three little pigs. Each of the pigs built a house to protect themselves from “the Big Bad Wolf.” When the tough times came, the pig who had the most solid foundation of materials and labor was able to endure the onslaught of the wolf. Times are becoming difficult in this age even in our blessed shores of America. What is the true foundation of hope for the future? Jesus, after finishing the Sermon on the Mount, indicated that those heeding his words were wise foundation builders. “He who hears these sayings of mine and does them I will liken Him to a wise man who built his house on a rock: and the rain descended, the floods came and the winds came and blew on the house [storms of life (my add)] and it did not fall because it was built on a solid rock” (Matthew 7:24). “But, the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and
