What was the purpose in the second amendment?
It is amazing how little people know about their own constitution. Gladys, okay, she hates Obama, but the reality is the first governments of the US were actually the most liberal government in the world. Rights and freedoms were so far away from what the conservatives wanted, who supported the king, that it is laughable to see what the US has actually turned into. I guess this leads on to what Common sense in exile has to say. The conservatives have changed the constitution to fit their own needs, rather than actually following the liberal constitution that was actually made. Self defence was not a part of the constitution at all. Some have tried to claim that self defence comes from the right to bear arms under British common law, but there is no evidence to prove this.
