What was the primary source of conflict that led to the Civil War?

0

There are many primary sources of conflict that led to the Civil War, one main issue was the issue of slavary–The Union was against the institution of slavary whereas it was one of the south’s major sources of income and if this institution was to be completey abolished as the Union wished it would, the economy in the South would be devistated–however another source of conflict came form the industrial north and the agricultural south–because of these two extremes the north was economically sturdy whereas the south was struggling, due to this there was much economic competition between the states.
