What was the origin of the High Moor?
A poster on the realms list asked: I have discovered two very different creation stories for the High Moor. The North box set talks about an incident that occurred during the Crown Wars. The text reads, “Perhaps the greatest calamity to befall the Fair Folk was the Dark Disaster, a killing magic that took the form of a dark, burning cloud. It enshrouded the kingdom of Mieyritar, and when it faded away some months later, not an elf lived -nor were trees left; only an open blasted moor: the High Moor. >An excellent, epic creation story. However, it is directly contradicted by the information presented in the Elminster’s Ecology on the High Moor.
