What was the norths point of view on slaves voting?
Neither the North nor the South wanted slaves to vote. The North didn’t even want them counted as people for the purpose of distributing congressional seats. The South wanted them to be represented in congress so long as only white people got to choose who would represent them and the representative was white. Hence the 3/5ths compromise.
