What was the name of the cartoon dog that would “hug itself & float into the air” when given a doggie treat?
This question is probably answered most eloquently by the person who originally submitted the name, Murray Lindsay: …”Snuffles,” the tracking dog of the western cartoon character, Quickdraw McGraw. He didn’t appear in every episode, just when Quickdraw needed some tracking done. However, Snuffles was a bit stubborn and not entirely devoted. He would, however, do anything for his beloved doggie biscuits. Snuffles’ gyrations upon receiving this treat have stuck in my memory to this day and replay them in my head whenever I lay tastebuds on some tasty morsel. The story usually reached a sticky moment when Snuffles refused to go further without another biscuit and Quickdraw discovered he was fresh out. Q: Do you know of any agencies I can contact to get my dog into commercials or movies? A: No. I just list ’em, i don’t book ’em. One of the new features i hope to implement sometime in the distant future is a bulletin board where people could post information & requests for information. If
