Ken Shamrock defeated WWF Champion Shawn Michaels by disqualification in the main event of the December 8, 1997 PPV. After the bout, Owen Hart emerged from the crowd and attacked Michaels. It was Owen’s first appearance in the WWF since the Bret Hart incident in Montreal at the Survivor Series.
