What was the lewis and clark expedition?
The Lewis and Clark Expedition was a journey taken by Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. Their expedition began in 1804 at the Missouri River and they arrived at the Pacific Ocean in 1905. Their goal was to find a route to the Pacific for purposes of commerce and to learn more about the natural resources, the possibilities for future settlement and inhabitants.
