Following the initiative launched at the 2008 IATA Annual General Meeting, Mr Bisignani invited fifteen governments that have signaled their interest in discussing these ideas, as well as the European Commission, to discuss liberalisation at a specially organised Summit held in Istanbul on October 25-26, 2008.
