What was the idea behind the latest Coke commercial with Aamir?
A. Joshi: We felt that there was a gap in Cokes advertising. We were looking at building an emotional connect between the brand and the consumers. The latest commercial, Piyo sar utha ke is our little emotional communication with the consumers. Coke is about real emotions, its about bonding with people and the idea is to forget everything else and enjoy drinking a Coke. We worked on the simple concept that whenever someone drinks anything, he lifts his head. And that is how we tried to build an emotional connect using the commercial.
