Hitler found a convenient way to blame all of Germany’s problems on one group, and far too many people either bought into it or were afraid to speak up, lest they end up being murdered. During the holocaust, Jews, homosexuals, blacks, and others were systematically used for slave labor and at the same time were being starved, beaten, and murdered. An estimated 11 million people died in concentration camps, including 6 million Jews.
