Since 1956, the most runs scored in one game by a team that recorded zero hits is four, by the Chicago White Sox against the New York Yankees on 01-July-1990. Note that MLB does not recognize this as an official no-hitter for Yankees pitcher Andy Hawkins, since as the visiting pitcher in a losing effort he had to pitch only eight innings and not nine.
