What was the hardest transition between competing in club gymnastics and competing in college gymnastics?
The skill level was much higher. Everyone was much stronger in comparison than the people I had competed with previously. I had to work on my body after freshman year to get stronger to enable me to be a better competitor. Q: Going into your first practice at WMU, what were your thoughts? A: This is my team now, and what do I need to do to compete with them. Q: You not only achieved the title of All-American once but twice while at WMU. Can you describe your emotions of being named an All-American? A: It was great knowing that you were one of the top three in the entire nation. It is just overwhelming when you think about it.
