Allegedly they say Buddy Holly was the first white rock and roll act to play there, but both Jimmy Cavallo and Dale Hawkins say they performed before Holly. Person Number 1: Buddy Holly played there August 16, 1957 Person Number 2: Jimmy Cavallo and the House Rockers played there December 1956. Person Number 3: Dale Hawkins played there July 1957.
