What was the doll that was like Barbie, only much smaller in scale?

I’m trying to remember a doll I had when I was a kid in the 70s. These dolls were like Barbie dolls but much smaller. The scale and heads were similar to Barbie dolls, but (if I remember correctly) they were about half the size of a Barbie. They weren’t child dolls, they had long hair, make-up and were fully developed. If anyone remembers these dolls, I’d be grateful for some information. You might be thinking of Dawn dolls. Dawn dolls are small fashion dolls that were made by Topper between 1970 and 1973. The dolls were smaller than Barbie dolls, slightly over 6″ in height. I remember having one as a child.
