What was the difference between your two coaches, legendary basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski and soccer coach John Rennie?
JH: “They were different and similar at the same time. They expected you to perform at the highest level at all times. The difference was I was more of a prime-time player in soccer than I was in basketball. I played every minute of every game for soccer, and in basketball I was very much a role player. It was good for me to see the difference between a guy that comes off the bench and a guy that starts – it gave me good perspective.” Still a Duke fan? JH: “Oh, the biggest! I’m Duke, through and through. My sister went there as well, and some day I hope to return there.” Any North Carolina fans you have to battle with? JH: “A couple UNC fans have given me their hats to sign, and I always put ‘Go Duke!’ on there.” You came into the league as an attacking midfielder and then switched to defense. What was that transition like? JH: “It was a slow progression, I’ll be honest. I broke into the league with Miami, and they needed a right wing back. I’ve always kind of been that player that if
