In conclusion, There were many effects of this war and here are some. For the first time African-Americans fought in the war. Since South economy was destroyed the North economy grew. There were many economic and amendment struggles after the war. South lost cotton trade with Britain. All the reconstruction began after the war was over. Because of the war hundreds of thousands of Americans were killed. So that is why the North won the Civil War and not the South.
