The Austrian Hungarian Empire caused WW1: invaded Serbia because a Prince was assassinated. WW2 was caused by the French collaborating with the Germans after they had invaded Poland.

Widespread imperialism that was fueled by nationalism started WW1. After WW1 ended and Germany lay in ruin, wealthy outsiders, mostly Jews, came in and took things over. Germany realized what was happening in their country (and throughout the western world), and decided to defend their country from invaders. They went too far, however, in attempting to build an empire solely for the purpose of vengeance.
