What was the cause of the Berlin Wall to fall?
It was a combination the people who fought for more freedom and a mistake by a governent spokesperson in a mediaconference on new travelling regulations. They weren’t supposed to come into action until later but the gov person said they came into effect immediately which caused chaos at the borders as the soldiers there still didn’t know about it and still shot at those wanting to get out. However the people who had resisted the regime for some time before knew it and started charging at the checkpoints at The Berlin Wall and eventually started pulling it down.
