What was that experience like, returning to the same stage where youd triumphed?
PH: That stage is awesome. There’s really nothing like it as far as the view. There are stages that are equally beautiful in other ways, I suppose, but I remember being more confident than when we played in the contest and feeling less nervous. I was happy to be there. A lot of people came down for the set. We played there again this year – we got hired back – which was another great honor. We got the pat on the back that, now that we’d won the contest, they are now recognizing us and wanting us to be involved. We did really well this year, as well. The stage is amazing. CP: Sounds like that could become an annual event for you. PH: I don’t expect it will be annual, but I definitely hope it’s frequent. Festivals have kind of an obligation to their regulars to mix it up. That’s one of the coolest things about festivals, getting to see stuff that you didn’t think you would like or didn’t know you’d like. If they book the same bands every year, that can take away from that experience. But
