Gas was rationed. You could have 5 gallons for a month if you were a worker. Also, tires. When I say rationing, that mean you had to have the stamp to get it. But you still had to have the money to pay for it besides. Sugar and butteryou didn’t get much! Where did you hang out? We hung out in the Soda Pop Caf. We had so much fun there.
