What was it like working with Bun B, Raekwon, and Juelz Santana?
Yelawolf: Working with Raekwon was an honor. What else can you say about Rae? He’s a 5 mic king. Rae is just one of the greatest of all time. I was a huge Wu-Tang fan. I was riding to Cuban Linx before I even knew what I was going to do with my life. To have him on a record was extra special. To have him co-sign what I’m doing and what I’m about is a stamp that I’ll be able to hold forever because of his legacy. Working with Bun B was equally exciting. I get beside myself man because I think about listening to Pocket Full of Stones when I was 10 years old in Nashville. It’s just crazy to me. Him and Pimp C made great music. Bun B is a southern icon and he made it possible for people to even give the South a chance. I had him on a record and he killed it. It was a record for us to just get on and bust. It was an honor to work with him. Being able to work with established artists like Juelz Santana is validating and humbling at the same time. SS: What’s the message behind the song F.U.?
