What was it like wearing the Grizabella costume for the first time?
Weird. When I had my first costume fitting, without the wig and makeup, it was okay. But when I had the full getup on…every time I passed by a mirror, I’d be like, “Oh my God!” It doesn’t look strange from afar, but up close and in person, it’s intense. What was your daughter Nicole’s reaction upon seeing your “Cats” makeover? My daughter saw the whole process. She was fine with it. She knew it was mommy under the makeup. She wanted to put the makeup on, too. She has her own little sponge and everything. There’s a “Glee” campaign on Facebook… I know. I’ve seen it. It’s funny. It’s sweet. I’m flattered that there’s a group of fans that have made it their mission to get me on “Glee.” I’d love to be on that show someday, but I don’t want to do it arbitrarily. I want to be on it for the right part. Have you seen “Glee”? My God! I have all the episodes on iTunes! Charice Pempengco will be on it soon. That’s awesome.
