What was it like to be named Cosmo Magazine’s Most Eligible Bachelor of 2008?
BL: It was a crazy experience. It was a lot of fun, and I met a lot of good people. And I was really flattered. But at the end of the day, the best experience was being able to donate the $10,000 [that Ludden won as Most Eligible Bachelor] to First Descents in the name of Allan Goldberg, the executive director who lost his own battle with cancer. O: Has Cosmo’s decision had any affect on your dating life? BL: It hasn’t affecting my dating life, although certainly my Facebook friend requests have gone up, mostly young women. O: I was recently named Outside Magazine’s most eligible bachelorette in the intern department [read: only female intern]. What do you think our chances are? BL: Nice work! I would say it’s a bachelor-match made in heaven. –Melanie Lidman Photos courtesy of Brad Lubben. Top: Upper North Fork of the Payette River, Idaho in August. Bottom: Cosmo’s glamor shot.
