What was it like playing basketball at Rainier Beach High School in Seattle with the Knicks Nate Robinson?
It was fun. He’s an athletic point guard, who just went by everybody. He either dunked the ball or passed it. It was also fun because he’s a great character. Q: Did you play football with him as well? A: I played little league football with him, and high school football. It was the same thing as basketball. You always knew what you were going to get out of Nate. You’re going to get his best every night. He always wants to win. Q: What’s it like playing for Rick Pitino? From the outside, it seems like he is an awfully demanding coach. A: He’s not demanding stuff out of you that he knows you’re not capable of. He’s just trying to get the best out of you. Q: Is this team capable of winning a national championship? A: I don’t know. I’ve never won a national championship, so I don’t know what it takes to win one.
