What was involved in placing the Grizzly riser block on the CM bandsaw? Would you do it again?

The riser block had to be drilled out to accept the different alignment pin holes. New bolts were required to attach the pieces together. The blade guard for the left side (riser block side) didn’t fit correctly. The cover for the left side no longer fit correctly. The blade guide supplied by Grizzly was 21mm, whereas the CM required a 19mm rod, so I had to get a new 19mm rod.
