What was heracles a god of?
Heracles was not a god. He was a son of Zeus but his mother was mortal so he was not a god and he was mortal. He was probably the most important mortal in Greek Mythology. He is normally classified as a hero. He was, according to Greek Mythology, the strongest man on earth. He ended up dying, because a centaur told his wife that his (the centaur’s0 blood would keep Heracles love for her, but it ended up that when she gave him the blood it killed Heracles, because of the poisonous arrow that had been shot into the centaur mixed with the blood and created poison.
