What was Galindas job in Wicked?
In the book The Wizard of Oz by author and series originator Lyman Frank Baum [May 15, 1856-May 5, 1919], Glinda is the Good Witch of the South. In Wicked by Gregory Maguire [b. June 9, 1954], Glinda starts out being ka Galinda. She subsequently drops the “a,” which is how her professor, Doctor Dillamond of Shiz University, says her name. She becomes the Witch of the North, which is how she is ka in the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz.
