What was Davids first job after leaving school?
After leaving school at 16, David joined an advertising agency as a Junior Visualiser/Paste Up Artist. He joined the Yorkshire based company Nevin D. Hirst Advertising at their offices at 98 New Bond Street, Westminster, London W1S 1SN. He left after four or five months to pursue his musical career. In 1968-1969 to earn extra money, David worked on a casual basis for Legastat Ltd, 57 Carey Street, London WC2A 2JB.
