What was crucifixion like?
Crucifixion was a most cruel form of execution that the Romans had learned from the Persians. It would not only put the victim out in public display for humiliation, but it was a torturous slow death. ~THE MOCKERY Hebrews 12:2 … endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
