What was behind the creation of the original Captain Sunshine super-hero?”
Captain Sunshine originated in New Zealand. The character was created in a comic book for the intentions of promoting a solar powered sundial-watch. He first appeared in 1979. Only one issue of that comic book was issued although a game was created that was associated with Quik Milk. He has recently made a reappearance in the Venture Brothers comic series, however.
