Solar panels are warrantied for 25 years and inverters usually carry a 10 year warranty. Solar panels are designed to last 40+ years; however, after 25 years they are expected to lose about 20% of their output capability. Our installation is warrantied for 5 years. Once the installation is inspected, the system becomes a part of the home and is now covered as a ‘fixed structure’ under your homeowners insurance in case of “Acts of god” or other unforseen events.
