There is an old age home in the neighborhood where many girls do volunteer with the elderly. Others volunteer with handicapped children. The home also has a minyan each Shabbat where girls daven for Shabbat services and join the community of people from all over Jerusalem who come especially to make shule lively and happy for the residents. I have never been to Israel.
