What volume equation needs to be in the key file?
Volume equation numbers are regional specific. A complete list of equation numbers by region is included in Appendix A of the National Timber Cruising Program–Input Requirements and Reports. The key file will also accept old equation numbers and convert them to the current numbers. Some regions have a specific set of numbers to be used depending on location. When in doubt, contact your Regional Measurements Specialist for guidance.
