What victories does Paul Williams have to convince many fans that he is “the most feared boxer”?
Paul Williams is underrated gone overrated. No, he is not the most feared boxer and he is not the best welterweight. He lost to Quintana, the same guy Cotto defeated. He won a disputed decision against Margarito and Margarito got annihilated by Mosley, and Mosley was defeated by Cotto. Yes, Margarito beat Cotto but it is controversial as Margarito was not inspected by Evangelista Cotto during the pre-fight. So for all we know, he used loaded hand wraps similar to Mosley, which for Margarito the biggest fight of his career was against Cotto, not Mosley because he was fighting for a welterweight belt. Anyways, Paul Williams has never defeated Clottey, never fought Cotto, never fought Mosley, never fought Mayweather, and never fought Berto. How the hell all of a sudden some people think he is in the top 5 p4p list, especially in yahoosports, who is officially owns the worst ranking in the history of mankind.
