What versions of Microsoft Reader are coming?
• International versions: Microsoft has announced that it is working on several European and other language versions. • Windows CE devices: Microsoft has not announced plans to release a version for older WindowsCE devices. • Franklin eBookMan: Originally planned for release last year, Franklin now says it will be launching a version of the eBookMan device with Microsoft Reader some time later this year. • PalmOS devices: Microsoft has not made an official announcement (see comments below on Mac version). • Apple or Macintosh computers: Microsoft has not made an official announcement, however, according to a recent ePublisher’s Lunch newsletter, at the “… annual conference held by Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman, Microsoft’s Clifford Guren confirmed that the company is at work on a Macintosh version of their Reader software.
