November 4, 2007 As of EnviroInsite v 6.0, we support the display of all versions up through DXF / DWG 2004. return to top____________________________________________________ Dates in posted data and tabular data displayed as 12/30/1899.October 31, 2007 This problem occurs when using MS Excel as the data file. In this case the data has been dumped into the spreadsheet from a database where the dates had been stored in a text field. There is a lot more going on behind the scenes in MS Excel than we’ll ever understand. It seems that although the date field cells appear to contain dates, if Excel thinks it is an arbitrary text string then EnviroInsite will not be able to handle the date field correctly. The labor intensive approach is to highlight each date cell (one at a time), then hit F2 to edit and then hit the enter key to stop editing. Repeat this for each row. This is acceptable in a small data file, but the better approach is to set the field within the database to a date-type val
