SocketTools 6.0 requires version 2.2 of the Windows Sockets API and loads WS2_32.DLL. This is the current version of the API, and is supported on Windows 2000 and later platforms. If that version of the Windows Sockets library cannot be loaded and initialized, an error will be returned to the application indicating the failure.
