What version of iFit does my Treadmill, Elliptical, or Bike support?
There are three iFit technologies that we have produced through the years: iFit Chirp, iFit SD, and iFit Live. In addition, some iFit products were released that only ran built-in programs. Each iFit technology functions independently of each other; they are not backwards compatible. • iFit Chirp – this is the original iFit technology. It uses digital audio cues ( -chirp- played from Audio CD’s, Video Tapes, or your computer) to control and communicate with your exercise product. A standard line-in audio port will be present on either the console or the bottom-rear of your equipment (see examples below). If your product’s console says iFit, but does not have an SD/MMC card slot, your equipment supports iFit Chirp technology. • iFit SD – the second generation iFit technology used SD cards to store your workouts.
