What verse is at the center of the Bible?
First answer is correct. Normally, people claim Psa 118:8 for this, but that is a very particular type of “center”. I figured it out for the King James Version Standard Text once – the physical center of the text (counting pages to either side). it was in Isaiah, I believe. Naturally, different bible versions will have different centers depending on a) how you calculate “center” b) the translation, if wording influences your calculation of “center” c) the font size of the titles compared to the font size of the text, if pages are used to calculate “center” d) the amount of blank space included, if pages are used to calculate “center” Jim, http://www.bible-reviews.
For a Christian, the Sermon on the Mount is in the center…. and at the center of that Sermon on the Mount is: “Let thine eye be single.” And that was the formula he gave to increase the light and become the “Children of LIght” he spoke about. This will explain that central passage in the Bible: http://gospelenigma.
