What vehicule does the fire photographer use?
I use a Nissan Xterra 2003 Special Edition V6 T/A 4×4 truck. To be well visible on night calls, the truck features a large reflective red line with the word FIRE (in French) both in front and at rear. The word FIRE (in French) is also displayed in reflective white letters on each side of the truck. The AQPVP badge (which I’m a member of) is displayed in the windshield and the read window. Finally, when parked at a fire or rescue scene, an identification card officially approved for fire photographers by the Ministry of Security of Quebec is hooked to the head mirror.
