THE CRUSADES WERE STARTED WITH THE MUSLIMS WERE KILLING EUROPEAN NOBLES GOING TO JERUSALEM TO SEE THE BIRTHPLACE OF JESUS.THAT STARTED THE CRUSADES.I THINK THE CRUSADES WERE A GREAT EXPERIANCE FOR EUROPE,U CAN CALL ME A JACKASS FOR SAYING THE CRUSADES WERE GOOD BECAUSE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE DIED,BUT IT WAS GOOD BECAUSE POPE URBAN THE SECOND(POPE PRESENT DURING CRUSADES)DECLARED WHOEVER DIED IN THE CRUSADES WOULD AUTOMATICALLY GO TO HEAVEN NO MATTER WHAT SINS THEY COMMITED.BUT IT WAS BAD BECAUSE WHEN KING RICHARD LEFT ENGLAND TO FIGHT IN THE CRUSADES,HIS EVIL BROTHER KING JOHN TOOK OVER.HE WAS EVIL,AND HE DIDNT CARE ABOUT ENGLAND.HE MADE PEOPLE PAY TAXES FOR NO REASON AND IF THEY REFUSED KING JOHN WOULD MURDER THERE WIFE AND ENSLAVE THERE CHILDREN.UNTIL KING JOHN WAS DEFEATED AND FORCED TO SIGN THE MAGNA CARTA.THATS WHAT I THINK THE CRUSADES SERVED AND WHAT PROBLEMS WERE CALLED.
