What vaccinations do students need before coming to campus?
New York State public health law requires all students to provide proof that they have received at 2 measles vaccinations, at least one mumps vaccination, and vaccination against rubella. In addition, the State requires students to indicate whether they have been vaccinated against bacterial meningitis. In addition, SUNY Geneseo requires students to provide proof of vaccination against polio, tetanus and diphtheria. We also require that students have a tuberculin skin test (PPD) within a year of enrolling at Geneseo. You can find more information for incoming students on our website.
