What vaccinations do people have to have to go to egypt?
The only required vaccination for travel to Egypt is for Yellow Fever and that only applies if you are arriving from an infected area. Travellers are recommended to get their vaccination for Hepatitis A and B and ensure routine vaccinations for Typhoid, Polio, Typhoid, MMR, and Tetanus-diphtheria are up-to-date. Vaccination for Rabies is recommended if planning to spend a lot of time outdoors, or at high risk for animal bites, or involved in any activities that might bring them into direct contact with bats. One optional vaccination I would personally suggest is called Dukoral. It is an oral vaccination that you drink and its purpose is to help protect against travellers’ diarrhea which can be quite common in Egypt for visitors. Your doctor may also prescribe you antibiotics for you to take on the trip to Egypt in the event you get a bout of travellers’ diarrhea. The following precautions still however applies: 1. Do not drink tap water unless it has been boiled, filtered, or chemicall
