What vaccinations are required for boarding?

0

• Dogs are required to be current, within one year, on Rabies, and DHPPV (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Parvo Virus). We also require your pet be current within 6 months on Bordetella. Bordetella is the vaccination for “Kennel Cough” or “Canine Cough.” It is an air-borne bacteria that can be a problem in areas where dogs are housed together. Vaccination of your dog with this important vaccine, prior to boarding, helps eliminate or reduce the signs of this irritating disease syndrome. • Cats are required to be current, within one year, on Rabies and FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calcivirus, and Panleukopenia). We also require our feline guests be current (within 6 months) on their bordetella vaccine. • Ask your veterinarian or call us if you have any questions regarding the status of your pet’s vaccinations.
